Steelway makes an investment in learning and development for Employees.

A step in the right direction for Steelway after making an investment into employees learning and development, introducing a learning management system for continuous development of the workforce.

Solid Top Ducting System

Steelway Brickhouse has recently supplied a bespoke solid top ducting system. The system supplied comprised of 3 modules with 150 covers in total the longest module being 42 metres in total. The system was designed to aid in easy cover removal and to allow for full chamber access when the covers were removed. Steelway undertook all the surveying, design and manufacture of the ducting system.

Investment in Welding Extraction

Steelway Brickhouse have recently undertaken a £16k investment to improve the welding fume extraction on 6 number welding stations. The investment has seen a reduction in the amount of welding fume and compliments the investment that was undertaken a few years ago on another section of the fabrication shop.

Steelway invest in off-site assembly / modular build premises.

Steelway are pleased to announce they have improved their Off-Site / modular build operation, by investing in additional premises. The site is based north of Wolverhampton with excellent access to the motorway network which helps with transporting the pre-built structures nationwide.

The 3-bay facility is served by 6no 5 tonne lifting capacity overhead cranes. Bay 1 is now operational, bays 2 and 3 will be operational early in 2020 as demand for the service increases.
