We’re delighted to welcome Michael O’Shea to Steelway as our new Managing Director. With more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge in business leadership, operational improvement and commercial development, alongside a genuine focus on the people who make a business successful.
Throughout his career, Mike has held senior leadership positions, helping businesses navigate change, improve performance and identify opportunities for growth.
As he joins us at Steelway, Mike is looking forward to getting to know our teams, understanding what makes our business special and working together to build on our successes.

Michael’s leadership style is direct, grounded and adaptable. He values clear communication, consistent expectations and being visible across the business, while giving people the trust and responsibility to succeed in their roles.
Alongside his executive career, Michael has led outdoor activities and overseas expeditions with young people. These experiences have strengthened his resilience, judgement and sense of responsibility, all of which continue to influence his approach to leadership.
He recognises the importance of bringing people together, particularly during periods of change, and creating an environment where teams feel supported and understand how their contributions help achieve wider business objectives.
