Steelway are now CE Approved

The construction industry is facing one of the most significant changes as CE Marking of construction products becomes mandatory in all Member States throughout the European Union and the European Economic Area.

For all fabricated steel structures delivered to site from 1 July 2014, there is a legal requirement under the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) that it is CE Marked. This represents a major development for engineers, contractors and steelwork specialists and it demands careful attention to the new obligations imposed.

Steelway are pleased to announce we are now CE certified up to Execution Class 3.

After having undergone a detailed external audit by LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) for full Factory Production Control (FPC) to meet the requirements of BS EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011. Both Steelways manufacturing sites in Wolverhampton and West Bromwich were successfully audited in compliance to the regulations.
