Steelway Rail reflects manufacturers optimism
West Midland's based engineering firm Steelway have recently created a new rail engineering division to meet the increased demand for engineered metal fabrication currently required by the rail industry. Steelway have over 80 years experience as a specialist metal fabrication business, and their expertise in this field has made them ideally placed to take advantage of the massive investment in the rail infrastructure. The company has two engineering facilities in the West Midland's and currently employs over 180 staff, many of whom are highly qualified engineers and designers.
The company operates a continuing professional development programme for all key employees, to ensure that they are fully up to speed with the latest advancements in design and manufacturing techniques and software developments.
Customer relations and quality assurance are a bye word at Steelway and the company is proud of the business relationships that have been developed within both the private and public sector. The company's products are manufactured in accordance with BS EN ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001 accreditations and holds Link up approval with Proof. Steelway is split into three key business divisions that produce a range of architectural metalwork, specialist fabrications, security fencing, street furniture, access covers and security products for both the public and private sector.
