Steelway Rail continue to innovate to overcome the myriad of issues which affect our modern day railway system. Whilst the need to provide an up to date revenue protection scheme such as automative gated access systems is essential, the need to incorporate these into a traditional environment can be a challenge.

Many Railway stations are either listed or sit within a conservation zone and so the sensitive treatment of a prominent fence line is crucial.

Steelway Rail have now completed or are currently involved in a number of such schemes, whilst not all of them involve gate lines they all require fencing which is acceptable to the Conservation Officer. Similarly a scheme has been carried out in Cornwall at St Austell Station where like Leamington runs of fencing together with associated gates have been included within the listed site.

Current schemes include the next phase of the reopening at Chilterns National Award winning irmingham Moor Street Station which involves the supply and installation of new speartop fencing and gates to Platforms and Platform ends etc. This added to work currently being carried out for First Great Western at Truro ensures a busy time for Steelway.

Clearly with a history of understanding the traditional design concepts and with keen attention to detail Steelway may just be the answer to your problem.
